UFSIFE was proud to host its 2nd Summer Ethics Case Competition for Warrington Welcome students.  This competition provides freshmen in the Warrington College of Business Administration with the opportunity to apply their ethical reasoning, business analysis, and presentation skills through presenting a corporate strategy to a panel of faculty, staff, and upper division student judges. UFSIFE was thrilled to have 28 teams participate in the competition, which was held on Monday, July 25th.

All of the participating teams gave thoughtful presentations and really showed that they had analyzed the case from both an ethical and a business viewpoint.  This year’s case challenged students to consider the ethical implications of using government “bailouts” to pay employee bonuses.  The teams were divided into four leagues in which one team from each moved on to the final round.  Below is a photo of the winning team.
